Not tested on Animals
Research and advances in technology makes it redundant. For example, in the 1960s, the sperm whale was becoming an endangered species because they were being hunted for their oil, which is comprised of ninety percent wax esters. Back then, they were widely used in thousands of health and cosmetic products. When importing whale oils into the United States was outlawed in 1971, jojoba oil was discovered. It was found that jojoba oil is far superior to whale oils, also known as squalene, in many ways and is more beneficial to human health. Today, it is prominent in a wide variety of products. Eco&More Body Lotion uses squalene from Jojoba oil, which is structurally and chemically very similar to the human sebum produced by the sebaceous glands in our skin and can act as a substitute while giving similar or added benefits compared to sebum.

Eco&More uses only GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) factories and they take time to research and test all their products very carefully. They do stability testing, ingredients testing as well as PH testing in their  labs and they find that, given enough time and care, there is no need at all to test their  products on animals. Jeni, founder of Eco & More said :” Of course, at Eco&More, we all love and believe in our products and we have a team of volunteers who are more than happy to people test all our products. We don’t believe that animals should suffer for human gain and if possible, we will do everything within our power to prevent cruelty to animals.”

Launching in June, 2012 is their highly anticipated Happy Baby range made to Eco Cert standards with 95% or more all natural ingredients and 10% or more from organic sources. All the Happy Baby Products are fortified with jojoba oil, wheat protein, Shea butter and sweet almond oil, this includes: Shampoo, Lotion, Bubble Bath, Hair and Body Wash and baby oil.
